Beginning art Substitute Lesson for OCtober 9, 2017

SKETCHBOOK Turn in your sketchbook for last week in the box on the table under the Promethean Board before you leave today.
Draw for 15 minutes in your sketchbook.
Theme - Architecture (see Weebly Sketchbook page for online links showing examples. You can draw buildings, parts of buildings, blueprints, etc.)
Required Pages - 4 total, completely filled with drawing and words
Due - October 20
Graded Work The following items have been graded in Schoology. Many of these projects have less than half of the classes' work submitted. Please check for and submit any missing work. Some items have had the zeros dropped in while others haven't yet.

ILLUSTRATED ALAPHET You will draw an image for each letter of the alphabet and shade it with pencil. You may use a blending stump for this project. The object must be shaded but you don't have to shade the background. Images can be centered around a theme or random.
Paper size - 16" x 21"
Number of Rows - 7 across and 4 down
Cell Size - 3" across and 4" down (There will be 2 empty cells since there are 26 letters and 28 cells)
Subject - Your choice
Measuring Tip - Measure at least 3 places and make a mark, connect your marks
Drawing Tips Add edges of items to show thickness. Be detailed Use interesting placement of items
