General Concept:
This painting will be a non representational artwork - meaning that doesn't look like anything from the real world. Attitude: There is no wrong or right way to approach this project. Be loose and have fun. This is a great time to experiment. Don't overthink your design. Expectations: Choose 2 or 3 of the 7 Elements (Line, Shape/Form, Texture, Space, Value, Color) and 2 or 3 of the 6 Principles (Balance, Contrast, Movement, Unity, Repetition/Rhythm, Emphasis) as a focus of your work.. Examples of these can be found in the slide out boxes for the Elements & Principles of art tab. There is an unlimited number of ways this can be done, The Elements are easy to include because these are real things you can add into the art work, like a color or shape. The Principles are ways we put the elements into the art work. These can be a little more difficult. See the slide out tab for ideas on how to incorporate the Principles of art in to your artwork Process: Colors - Choose colors that work well together
