Something that is repeated in many places. When placed in an ordered way it makes a pattern. Variations in the pattern creates a rhythm

Making one area the focal point or where the viewers eye goes first
Movement
Movement can be thought of in 2 ways. First, our mind will perceive that an object caught in mid-motion is in the process of moving giving the suggestion or illusion of movement. The second way movement is used in a work of art is the way the viewers eye moves around the painting. The artist can intentionally direct the viewer to important places in image.
Unity (Harmony)
Unity means that everything in the artwork fits together giving it a sense of wholeness
